Chaudhary Mahadeo Prasad College, Allahabad, widely known as CMP College, was founded in 1950.

It became a constituent college in 2005 when the University was granted Central status.

The college is spread across two campuses, featuring a well-integrated infrastructure and a dedicated faculty that fosters quality teaching, research, and community engagement. The main campus, located in George Town on M.G. Road, is home to the faculties of Science, Arts, and Commerce.
